This is the moment an elderly man was rescued from a car crash while walking his dog.
A man’s life was saved by a robert crow.
ABC News (@ABC) March 25, 2019 The incident happened in Melbourne’s south-west in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A male pedestrian was walking his pet robert crows, which are usually found in gardens or parklands, when he was hit by a car, ABC Melbourne reported.
The man, aged in his 80s, was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he was treated for head injuries and a broken collarbone.
He is expected to survive.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
“Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward,” a statement from police said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Earlier in the day, a man who had been struck by a vehicle was taken from a park and then taken to hospital.
