How to talk about feminism and women’s issues in the Republican Party

“My wife was one of the first feminists,” says Karen Leslie Crane, the author of the new book, “A Woman of Feminist Thought: My Life, My Party, and the Party of the Future.”

“And she’s not alone.

It’s happening all over the country.”

In the 1980s, Leslie’s wife, Susan, was one the first to advocate for women’s rights in the party, and in the years that followed, her husband, the future Republican nominee, Ted Cruz, made his political debut.

“I think there’s an increasing understanding of that the Republicans are not only a conservative party, they are a political party,” Leslie says.

“It’s a reflection of how we think about the issues and how we treat each other.

And I think that’s where a lot of the momentum is now, in the female side of things, and how to deal with that.”

The book is about the history of the Republican party, from its founding in 1877 to its present day.

In the years following Leslie and Susan’s marriage, the party has struggled with identity and gender issues, and its current presidential nominee, Donald Trump, has been accused of sexism, racism, and homophobia.

“The way to talk to women in politics is to have a good relationship with women and how you deal with those issues,” Lesli says.

The two discuss the differences between their own experiences, and their perspectives on what the GOP stands for, what it is for, and why it should be taken seriously.

The first two episodes of the series are available to stream now on Hulu, and can be ordered from the Hulu app.

Leslie has been interviewed on The View, and she has spoken at the National Women’s History Museum and other organizations.

In this episode, Lesli talks about the role that the conservative movement plays in the GOP, the evolution of the party over the past two decades, and what it’s like to be a woman in the political arena.

She also discusses the ways that women’s and gender justice issues are being addressed in the media.

Lesli is the co-author of The First Woman, the forthcoming book by her wife, Karen Lesli Crane, and is currently a columnist for the conservative website The Daily Caller.
