Cricbuzz Staff Italia Apr 23, 2019 05:17:33Italy’s Olympic champion Erickson Air Cranes Landing, a crane operator, was involved in a collision with a building in a residential area of Pisa, Italy, according to local media reports.

The incident happened at around 8pm local time (13:17 GMT), on Saturday.

Crickets hookers, also known as crane hookers (or crane hooker) are trained to grab onto anything that falls on them, including small vehicles, small cars, or even buildings.

Erickson was not injured in the accident, but was transported to the local hospital by helicopter.

A spokesperson for Erickson said the crane operator was assisting a resident who was working at a local restaurant when he lost control of the crane and “lost control” of the air crane while trying to retrieve a fallen piece of debris from the ground.

He was unable to get back to the building because the roof was not sufficiently protected, the spokesperson said.

The incident was reported to the Italian Civil Protection agency (CCPA) at around 7:15pm local (18:15 GMT), the spokesperson added.

The crash has caused huge traffic jams, and has been blamed on “unforeseen circumstances”, the spokesperson explained.
